Spirited News Review

Editorial policy

Spirited News Review aims to make news-reading choices visible. We distinguish reported claims from established facts, explain the limits of an example, and correct material errors plainly.

Accuracy and context

We check names of concepts, quotations and other factual details against suitable source material before publication. We do not treat a headline as proof of the claims beneath it, and we give readers enough context to understand the point being made. When an example is simplified for clarity, we avoid presenting it as a complete account of a live event.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for reader value and fit with our subject, not to promise favourable coverage. We do not imply that an advertiser, contributor or partner has influenced an editorial judgment.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review specific, verifiable concerns and correct material mistakes with wording that makes the change clear; a correction is not a guarantee that every disagreement will alter an article.

Partner material and illustrations

Any paid or partner material is identified clearly where it appears and kept distinct from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where that applies, the image is identified so it is not mistaken for documentary evidence.
